Process
The double diamond, applied honestly
Diverge to understand, converge on a problem worth solving, diverge again on solutions, converge on the one we ship. Every decision traceable back to something a user actually said or did.
Step 01
Discover
A 90-minute kickoff, stakeholder interviews and desk research — plus talking to the people who will actually use the thing. Wide on purpose.
Step 02
Define
Everything collapses into one problem statement, a handful of user needs and success criteria we both sign off on before any design starts.
Step 03
Develop
Sketches, wireframes and prototypes in Figma. Several routes, tested with real users, narrowed by what the testing shows rather than by taste.
Step 04
Deliver
Final UI, a component library, and a WordPress or front-end build if you need one — then we measure against the criteria we set in Define.
About
From graphic design to designing for users
I've worked in design since 2016 — first as a graphic designer, then WordPress, then as a digital designer handling visual identities, communication strategy, social content (video and static) and web design in Figma built out in WordPress.
What kept pulling me forward was the part where decisions stop being taste and start being evidence. I've been involved end to end — research, define, development, testing, launch — and I'm deliberate about it: Google UX certified, and building that muscle on freelance work where I own the whole process rather than just the visuals.
