Designer, Copenhagen
Andreas Petrovits
A designer crafting clean, effective digital experiences — and the identity, UX and build that hold them together.
Open to new roles
In short
From graphic design to designing for users
I started in 2016 as a graphic design intern in Timisoara, studied multimedia design in Odense and then design & business in Copenhagen, and spent nearly four years leading design and digital development at Sustainary — a sustainability platform where I ran a team of four and shipped three product and event sites.
What kept pulling me forward was the part where decisions stop being taste and start being evidence. At Codezo I was the only designer alongside three developers, reworking the flow of a gamified betting app; since late 2024 I've been freelancing end to end — identity, UX, website, content — where I own the whole process rather than just the visuals. Google UX certified to put method behind the instinct.
Two Nordic degrees, a maths and computer-science upbringing, and enough HTML, CSS and WordPress to ship what I design.

How I work
Four things you can expect
01
I ask first
Before anything gets drawn I want to know who it's for and what happens if we get it wrong. Briefs improve under questions.
02
Evidence over taste
I'd rather change my own design because a test said so than defend it in a review. Every decision traces back to something a user said or did.
03
I can build it
Front-end and WordPress are part of my toolkit, so I design things that can actually ship — and I can hand off in the language developers use.
04
Systems, not one-offs
Components, type scales and templates, so the work still holds together six months after I've handed it over.
